Joe ran in the states and was then sent to race in Puerto Rico. After 80 starts with a record of 5-5-6, he only earned $32K. His connections in PR wanted to make sure he was retired safely so he went to Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare. While there he was restarted and was even giving some lessons while waiting for a place back in the states. Because he has big ankles, even though he has been sound, CTA had a hard time finding a place for him. We saw him and fell in love with him. He arrived earlier this year and has had a bit of a time regaining his condition etc., but he has always been a big sweetheart, and would be suitable for a novice. Recently restarted, he will be ready for adoption later this fall. Check back for updates!
