War Action was originally a kill pen save years ago. He was originally adopted as a pleasure horse for a novice adult amateur. After several years, she apparently stopped riding and gave him to a “nice girl who taught special needs teens” who sold him onto the auction circuit. We found him and bought him back from a lot in NC., and then readopted him to an older couple who rode him for about a year- and then he became uncomfortable under saddle. After a kissing spines diagnosis, he came back to us to retire from riding. He keeps to himself but is on the mid to upper rank in the herd.
All MAHR companion horses are up to date on vet, dental, and farrier work. We do transfer ownership and require a $1- fee and contract. They cannot be resold but must come back to MAHR in the event they are no longer needed. We will deliver them and pick them up.
