Superr big boy, ready for anything~

Superr Ron came to us from MD’s Beyond the Wire after suffering a non displaced condylar fracture in his last race in January 2023. X-rays were sent to Hogan Equine and she determined he would heal perfectly well without surgery after plenty of time to heal. We just brought him into the main farm and X-rays are perfect- it is hard to even see where the fracture was, and there are no signs of arthritis.

Ron has an interesting story-He was second in his first race and ran 6 times in the maiden ranks. The winner of that first race was eventually disqualified for a positive drug test, so Ron was declared the winner- so he wasn’t officially a maiden after his first race.

Ron is a big boy, very uncomplicated to ride. Nice mover, he didn’t do a thing wrong but Kylea gave him plenty of time to trot around the ring before cantering, because he found so many interesting things LOL. He doesn’t have much of a neck or topline yet, but is quite willing and we are sure in the next few rides he will start to stretch over his back.
