Staking came to us from his owners at Delaware Park- they have been friends of ours for years and this guy was in our barn. He came off the track sound and has just been hanging out on the farm because his owners liked having him around- but now they are retired and decided to do some traveling so called us.
Stalking was a very good boy on his first ride in a year or more (see video). He tried very hard to do what we asked which was simply walk trot and canter both ways. Since then we have put a few more rides in, including intro to jumping in the last Sally Cousins clinic, and his balance and rhythm are getting steadier. He is super cute and built like a brick house. Barefoot and sound, no vices.
Check back for new video soon.
