Stunning black bay mare

Sorellina came to us from MD’s Beyond the Wire, retired sound after just 4 starts. This mare is sure to turn heads wherever she goes, with her glistening near black coat and beautiful movement. While she measures 15.2 1/2 on a stick, she has a deep girth to take up a rider’s leg, and since she is only just turning four AND her sire is quite tall, we expect her to finish well over 16 hands. (In the past we had one other gelding by this stallion who was over 17h and is now currently eventing successfully.) Sorellina is easy to ride but now and then is a little girthy- so Heather will loosely fasten the girth, walk her a few loops, and then tighten it for riding– that does the trick. Video under saddle was her first post track ride out in the field- and the free jump video was the first time ever seeing a fence. As you can see, she was really chill, and Heather was videoing and lunging at the same time- yes, we have talented team members!
