Praise the Moon

Easy guy with great post track mileage~

Praise the Moon first came to us late in 2020 from MD’s Beyond the Wire. A winner of over $130K, he qualifies as a war horse.  He was adopted in 2021 by a woman as her first horse. They had a great partnership but was returned in early 2026 through no fault of his own. He was adopted within a month as an all arounder but due to unexpected life changes with his adopter, he came back to us.

He is a super guy- he can be pushy on the ground so just needs someone to be consistent and a good leader- we have absolutely no trouble with him here. He is a super easy ride, great on the trails, and Kylea rode him in the Sally Cousins clinic last weekend- he was a star. We are not sure when the last time was that he jumped, or how much jumping he had done, but he said hold my beer! After the clinic our friend Jodi, an adult rerider, took him for a nice trail ride with her daughter and he was perfect.

Moon is barefoot and sound. He does crib-we do not keep a strap on him and it is mostly at feed time. He has so much to offer- an honest, educated guy!
