Parker’s Playmate

Gorgeous big mare with a great foundation~

Parker originally came to us in 2020 as part of a group of four horses from a Kentucky farm that ended up at a kill auction. After regaining her health, she was quickly adopted. She got a good foundation on the flat, started over fences, and went out hacking. Her adopter contacted us recently as she started having issues with not wanting to go forward and even rearing- vet evaluation came up empty. We did have her sent to a trainer for 6 weeks and she did not show any of these behaviors, but since it obviously wasn’t a great match, she came back to us. She has been awesome here- lovely mover, big bodied, barefoot and clean legged. As you can see in the video she is also tolerant! Kyle’s little dog Cha Cha decided she had to help with the schooling and wouldn’t be caught, but as you can see, Parker didn’t mind one bit. We are not really sure what the problem was but sometimes in spite of everyone’s best efforts, it just isn’t meant to be.
