Onehandsomedude

This guy is aptly named~

Onehandsomedude came to us from his connections at Delaware Park in spring of 2024 with a minor suspensory. A son of Bodemeister, he had two wins out of 12 starts at the bottom. With earnings of only $27K, it was obvious he wasn’t much of a runner. We gave him plenty of time off- in fact, too much time- we got so busy with horses coming in that he kept “missing the bus” from the rehab farm. At any rate, he is here now and he is fantastic. Very easy to ride, sweet on the ground, super mover too! Dude is barefoot and sound with no vices and the right amount of chrome.  We could see him excelling in any sport and great for a first time thoroughbred owner or kid coming off a pony- but nice enough for a pro. UPDATE 7/15/26 Dude came in from the field and under saddle was “wonky” behind- not really sure how else to explain it- vet and farrier could not find a specific cause. We had him chiro’d and will give him some time off and keep checking on his status under saddle. Horses!!!

UPDATE 8/1- Dude is better but not quite 100% but work does not make him worse, it really makes him better. He is due for another Chiro this week.

UPDATE 8/9- Dude is looking pretty good- we see a little stiffness here and there when he first gets going (see today’s video) but he is now able to be tried again-he is still the coolest chillest handsomest dude ever!  Just shoot us an email to set up an appointment..
