Not A Trace

Lovely war horse mare, rehabbed after neglect~

Trace came to us last year- someone purchased her sight unseen off pictures on the internet and she arrived in terrible condition (see intake pics below.) Her owner did not want to send her back to the seller (who was since charged with animal neglect) and called us. After a 51 start career with 7 wins and almost $150K in earnings, we wanted to make sure she never was in a bad situation again. It has taken a long time to get her healthy and sound- her weight, coat, teeth, and feet were terrible! She is now barefoot and sound and happy to be back in work.

Trace is a nice mover, very sweet and easy going. She can be a little unfocused when she first comes into the ring but if you do some lateral work and transitions she comes right around. She is sound with no apparent issues and no vices.
