“Major Howie”

“Major Howie” (JC Name Howie and the Cat) was pulled from a kill pen thanks to a donation from Susan in memory of her mother. He originally was placed by his trainer at Finger Lakes years ago- he was reportedly a favorite in the barn- and we have no idea what he has been doing since then, but he seems to have a pretty good foundation.

Update: When he first arrived he was a bit tense through his topline under saddle and totally obnoxious in the barn (to be honest!) He has come a long way and now has manners and his personality is shining through. He is relaxed under saddle and more of a kick ride. We put him over some crossrails and he totally knows how to jump (although that first day thes teering right before the fence was a little iffy, but he always went.)

owie has a lot of years ahead of him and will be a lot of fun for someone. Up to date on everything. Backed by our program’s reputation of honesty and transparency.
