Super easy going guy with great training~

Layoff came through our program in 2019-2020 after we got him out of the kill pen. He was a super nice super eaay guy and found a home right away. His owner just had her first baby and could no longer find the time to ride, so called us. Since he has been back he has been his old stellar self- he hasn’t put a foot wrong. Easy in the barn and under saddle. Three nice gaits, uncomplicated, barefoot and sound. Another one you don’t want to miss!

Update 6/12/24- Layoff had some effusion in his right knee and was slightly positive to ankle flexion so the potential adopter decided to pass – we will have our vet reevaluate him including X-rays this week- he has been s0und all along but we want to make sure he will not be limited going forward….

Update- we have current X-rays which show an old non displaced chip and mild OA, but he is negative to flexion and positive to hoof testers on the LEFT front so we are thinking it is  stone bruise or abscess brewing…stay tuned!
