Honey of a Devil (aka Old Man) found himself in the kill pen a couple of years ago. We were able to buy him and bring him to safety. His tattoo was unreadable but DNA revealed his true identity- he is by one of our favorite old time sires, Devil His Due. He is a super easy keeper, lives on air and as you can see is quite portly. Old Man is great to ride–BAREBACK– he does not like the girth period- so we are placing him as a pasture pet. He is a cribber. He is first to the feed tub and everyone else waits their turn in line, but he is very kind- he is just like an elder statesmen who has earned his standing in the herd.
All MAHR companion horses are up to date on vet, dental, and farrier work. We do transfer ownership and require a $1- fee and contract. They cannot be resold but must come back to MAHR in the event they are no longer needed. We will deliver them and pick them up.
