Evelyn’s Horseplay

Gentle giant with lots of mileage~

Evelyn’s Horseplay (Evan) originally retired from Beyond the Wire after having surgery on his left knee. We had him at our rehab farm and they fell in love with him and adopted him to use for lessons. He was also leased to a lovely young lady who rode him constantly, including bareback with a halter and shank. She unfortunately got hurt in a freak accident with Evan- she is recovering well, and loves him- however, it was very upsetting to everyone in their barn family, and we felt it was best if we took him back to MAHR.

He has absolutely remained his regular lovely quiet reliable self since he has come back. He is big and sweet and easy to ride and work with. He is best wearing front shoes and should not have a heavy jumping career because of his old knee injury. Evan would be a great husband horse, suitable for  novice rider too.
