Beauty and brains~

Carey (aka Care Bear) is a lovely grey filly retired from the track earlier this year. This gal has been a super star- she is very kind and willing, and learns super quickly. She is steady and tolerant, always asking her rider what is wanted and happy to respond. A very pretty mover, she is maturing and filling out- she will be even more fabulous in a few months. When she first arrived, she did crib once or twice in the stall but has not cribbed since then. She is barefoot- when she first comes out under saddle she is a bit careful with her feet, but as she gets comfortable with the footing, she steps right out. Carey will make someone an awesome partner for sure!

Update 11/8: Look at Carey now- she has really matured and filled out. We have not seen any cribbing at all either.
