Dat’s Tap

Cute (but slow) son of the great Tapit~

Dat’s Tap came to us from MD’s Beyond the Wire. A $100K two year old, he started 27 times but only won once- in 2026 he started 6 times and never hit the board. His connections decided he was better suited to another career, so he came to us.

Tap is a cute mover but a little on the green side when it comes to ring work. For his first ride, Kylea just walked and trotted, working on the go button and steering, For his second ride he started to understand about coming through over his top line and as you can see, the canter needs work- but he seems to be happy and learns quickly. He is a kick ride and very uncomplicated. We are excited to track his progress- stay tuned! Barefoot, sound, no vices.
