Da Winner Is

Da Winner Is came from his owner trainer at Delaware Park-one of his favorites and he wanted to make sure he had a happily ever after. A stakes placed runner with an admirable record of 66 starts- 9-8-9 for earnings fo $160K, he retired totally sound. When we picked him up, his groom was trying not to cry.  He has taken a little time to settle into his new career but he is game and honest. He is learning how to bring his back up and relax through his topline- the walk is getting pretty good, the trot is still a bit giraffe-like, but he isn’t as quick in his rhythm as he used to be. A brave soul, we could see him eventing or pony club or doing the jumpers. He is a totally cool guy.
