Civil Unrest came to us from MD’s Beyond the Wire after just 7 starts, finishing out of the money every time. She retired with no known issues and arrived last week. She has settled in nicely and today was her first ride- she was slightly impatient at the mounting block but then stood and walked off quietly. She did start off a bit tight, not unusual for a horse right off the track but just got better as she went. (Last ran 2/13 and she has not had her chiro appointment yet.) She walked trotted and cantered both ways without any fuss other than some teeth grinding- we will treat her with gastrogard to see if that helps. After cantering she was happy to just walk, and never called out for her new friends, although she didn’t want to stand for her head picture LOL. As you can see she is a gorgeous mover, and should mature well over 16h and fill out as well. Her sire Great Notion is known for throwing good temperaments. She is barefoot and sound with no vices. This girl wont last long!
