Lavago (JC: BJ’sworstnightmare) was adopted several years ago and had great success in western dressage. Her adopter eventually felt that her back was bothering her- X-rays showed some possible old wither fractures, so she was retired and recently returned to the rescue. She doesn’t seem especially painful under saddle or upon examination by our chiropractic vet, but she is probably best placed as a companion. She is very sweet and easy going.
All MAHR companion horses are up to date on vet, dental, and farrier work. We do transfer ownership and require a $1- fee and contract. They cannot be resold but must come back to MAHR in the event they are no longer needed. We will deliver them and pick them up.
