Able

Able came to us from his breeders through MD’s Beyond the Wire program. An unraced son of top sire Malibu Moon out of a multiple stakes producing mare, this BIG guy toes in a bit, and the stress of race training caused some sesamoiditis. Rather than risk  his future, his breeders retired him. He is a big love- very well started- he is now barefoot and although he toes in, he is a lovely mover. More of a push ride, and pretty unflappable. People may be put off by the fact that he is only three, but a quiet three year old will be a quieter four, five, and six year old!

We have recent xrays, and his sesamoiditis is inactive. Our vet feels he should have  no trouble being a mid level horse.

Update 5/9/20- the state of MD is now open for riding, but we must practice social distancing, etc.
