We are proud to announce we have received a 2020 grant from the ASPCA®  Rescuing Racers Initiative to continue our ASPCA® On the Right Track voucher  program, in which all newly adopted MAHR horses receive a voucher for $200- towards lessons or training, plus continuing to provide advanced retraining for all of our MAHR thoroughbreds. We were one of the first six programs selected by the ASPCA® to participate in the first $1M Rescuing Racers Initiative and have been grateful for their support every year since then! The ASPCA® Rescuing Racers Initiative really jump started the focus on aftercare, and we are honored to work side by side with the ASPCA® and industry leaders for the good of our retired racehorses....

Thank you TCA!! for our 2020 grant!!! TCA gave us our very first grant back in 2002, when Ginny and I went with our hearts in hand to ask for our very first grant as a newly formed rescue, with just three horses and a small rented field. TCA believed in us then and have continued to support us every year since then. How we have grown! Thousands of horses helped--Thanks TCA- we are proud to partner with one of the leaders in the industry for the good of our horses and our sport!

MAHR just got word that we have been reaccredited for 2019, and have received a significant grant once again to continue our work rescuing, transitioning, and rehoming thoroughbreds. As one of the first programs ever to be accredited, we are grateful to the TAA and the stakeholders in the industry that support the rigorous inspection and accreditation process, and provide substantial funding so that we may continue our life changing work here.
