Wild About Deb (Laddie)

Wow! Awesome war horse with excellent post track mileage~

Wild About Deb (Laddie) came to us 5 years ago from his connections at Delaware Park. He was a solid runner, earning close to $500K but had lost a step on the track. Laddie never made it to our website and was adopted by a good friend who brought him along properly. He did all sorts of things including showing,  hunting, a hunter pace, and trail riding- but his owner’s main goal was the show ring, and that was where he seemed happiest. Jen’s focus was on show hunters and Laddie was a bit too forward and never got that clean lead change, so she placed him with a friend who subsequently used him for her students and went to local shows. That person recently was facing health issues and she needed to return him, so Jen called us. We were happy to welcome him back, he has always been one of our favorites.

Kylea rode him and instantly fell in love. He has beautiful flat work and hunts for his fences. Kylea doesn’t get much chance to do a lot of jumping although you would never know it from the video. He was a total rock star- honest and brave and totally safe. He would be great in the eq or jumper ring and we wouldn’t rule out eventing but as we said, Jen felt he was happiest in the ring.

Laddie is wearing front shoes, is sound with no vices or bad habits and knows his stuff. He does have an old scar on his left knee (see pics) from a pasture accident but it does not bother him at all.

This is a great chance to get a super well schooled honest sound horse- and did we mention he is handsome?
