Parading By was originally a kill pen rescue several years ago. When he came in he had an eye injury necessitating removal- after he healed he was adopted quickly as an all around guy. Unfortunately due to a family situation, he came back to us late last year. Because we have been so busy he has just been hanging out. We rode him once in December and he was awesome. Today was windy and cold but we took the time to pull him out of the field to ride him and he was absolutely perfect— as expected. He is shaggy and needs his mane done but he was as kind and forgiving as ever. He has totally adjusted to only having one eye and if you just give him a moment in a new situation, he is calm and trusting. Barefoot and sound, no vices.

UPDATE- Parading By had a home lined up with a family and several children and grandchildren- He was perfect then they tried him and then they took him home- but one of the decision makers felt he was not what they should have- not sure if it was his breed, size, or whatever- but she emailed and I just told her to bring him back- he came back the next day- they never even rode him at their place- but we would never want one of our horses to be where they are not wanted, so he is available again.
