Stunning filly from excellent connections~

Luckyladieschoice came to us from her connections at Delaware Park. In her only start it was pretty clear she would rather not be a racehorse, so they called us. We have gotten several horses from the same folks and they have all been exceptional- this filly is no different. She just ran but came to the farm and after a few days off went into the ring and hacked around perfectly.

When she first arrived she was slightly uneven in her video- she had just run and was a bit tight through her body- our vet came and chiro’d her and we gave her a couple of weeks to let down and she is good now.

UPDATE 1/27/25- this is one NICE filly! After not being able to ride for weeks, we brought her out on a very cold very windy day and she didn’t put a foot wrong. Stood at the block, walked and trotted quietly both ways- the footing was not safe to canter. She is so willing and very supple through her back. She will be a star in any sport. She would be a great candidate for the TAKE2 series.

Update 3/23/35- our friend Taylor came down for the TERF clinic yesterday and rode Lady in the cross rail group- this was maybe the third time she had ever seen jumps- we didn’t want to do too much because she is just a baby but she is a natural. Today we just wanted to build a little on the gymnastic and as you can see, she is quite the talent- brave and smart. She came through it about 6 times in total, starting with piles of rails and building up to this- At this point we will not do any more jumping unless an adopter wants to try her.
