Only 1 start, he didn’t like the track life….

Bettanot Cross Me came from MD’s Beyond the Wire- he ran once early in 2023 and showed nothing- His connections kept him in training until the fall and finally accepted the fact he didn’t like the racetrack life and didn’t show much ability. His intake sheet noted he was sound and slow with no significant findings other than being a bit nervous.

When he came to us he had horrible barn manners and was worried about everything. We just turned him out to let him decompress. We have now started him in work and he is lovely- he is a super mover and very willing, not at all spooky- but he wants a soft confident rider to be the leader in this partnership. He has come along quickly but needs time to build on his foundation His barn manners are much improved too!

His last published work was August 2023 so he is 2025 RRP Makeover eligible. Eligible for TCA and NY Awards.
