Is the Way arrived from MD’s Beyond the Wire early in 2022. Very quiet and easy going, she was quickly adopted by a mature rider who continued her retraining, including hacking out and going hound jogging. During the time she was in her new home, she reared three times– once when the farrier was going to work on her, once when she was being ponied, and finally once under saddle while out roading hounds. Her adopter slid off, then got back on and continued riding without incident- but couldn’t really figure out what triggered her. She called us and we sent her to our trainer to see if we could find the reason- and in about 6-7 weeks, she never showed any signs of any bad behavior. In the meantime, her adopter decided that at this stage she would be better off returning her, so she is back with us and we are still evaluating her…..
Mandalorian fans will relate to her name! She is super easy, and more of a kick ride. Pretty mover, barefoot, clean and sound, no vices.
Up to date on everything. Backed by our program’s reputation of honesty and transparency. All MAHR horses can come to our series of all TB clinics here in MD for FREE.
