Silent Universe came to us from Adena Springs. Unraced due to a minor injury as a baby, he has fully healed and is not limited in any way. When he came to us he was very unsure of things, and tended to curl his head and neck and march around like a worried little soldier. We have taken our time with him and kept things easy and simple, and he has quickly gained confidence and is relaxing his frame. Silent wants a rider who will take their time now and not rush him- he tries so hard, and it will have a huge payoff in the future. This guy is big bodied with good bone and great feet – barefoot and ready to go on. He will turn heads wherever he goes! Silent is the first at the gate when we come with a halter to ride- he is such a love!

UPDATE- 1/5/21 -about 8 weeks ago, Silent looked a little uneven on his right front on turns to the right- we figured perhaps he was brewing an abscess and we knew he had soft soles- no abscess ever appeared and we went ahead and put shoes on him- still no change- so today we had our vet out- we xrayed him, all were clean- we blocked him up to his knee and no change- so the next step is to look higher up- we will circle back around next week. We will also have our chiro work on him and maybe acupuncture? Work or rest, nothing changes- and it is very minor- but there. Sigh- wish he could tell us what is going on!

Update 1/18- we had a chiro and acupuncture session today- given his reaction, the vet feels he probably tweaked his neck or something in that area- we will see how he responds to today–
