Seasoned foxhunter, former eventer

Winnie evented several years ago through Beginner Novice, but his trainer felt that his back was bothered by the jumping, especially with banks up or uphill fences. His owner then retired him from eventing and he started hunting- he has spent the last five years as a whip’s horse with the pack in Fair Hill, going three days a week in all sorts of weather. His owner has been faced with poor health and her family asked us to take him into our program. Winnie is sound but we would prefer that he go to a home with little or low jumping. He hacks out alone or in company and is honest but not a deadhead. As you can see from the pictures, he is quite robust LOL. Winthrop is a cribber.
