Tutor came to us from Beyond the Wire, MD’s wonderful aftercare program. In his younger days, he was a decent stakes horse. He suffered a fractured right hind sesamoid years ago, was carefully rehabbed, and came back to run soundly for several more years, although at a lower level. Overall, he ran 47 times with a 4 -6-2 record and $153K in earnings, so he reached war horse status. This guy could easily be mistaken for a warmblood with his substance- but make no mistake, he is a wonderful old school type TB. We could see him doing well in any discipline- his looks say hunter, his athleticism says eventing? jumpers? dressage? You choose! He has a great mind to go with his good looks – what more could you want?
