Athletic, fun to ride

This nice mare came to us from Delaware Park when her owner/trainer left the track. She is very sensible, smart and willing. Elastic mover, lots of fun to ride – more forward than not, but listens well. Sassy has an educated mouth and great natural balance. She is sound but does have a big ankle from her racing career. We took xrays – it is just an osselot, and does not affect her soundness- but it looks pretty ugly. She has good bone and great feet, and is quite happily going barefoot.
