Potshot, b.g., 16.2++, 2002.Potshot was a fairly successful racehorse but racing was not kind to him. When he came in, he was in pretty rough shape- he has really come around and is sound but has some muscle atrophy through his hind end. We have had several vets go over him and they can find nothing wrong. He is now healthy, sound, and willing and ready for some low level stuff. He is very sweet and quiet.
Update: Potshot is a fuzzy bear! He is doing great, very gentle, and is filling in along his quarters nicely. Life as a riding horse agrees with him! Update April 2010: Boy, what a difference time makes! Potshot is looking good, and his hind end is getting round. He is going well, takes a lot of leg, and is very easy to ride. Carries himself in a nice balanced frame. Barefoot and sound. New pics soon! Update June 2010: You can't tell Potshot ever was so compromised. We promise to get new pics soon! He has filled out, looks fabulous, and is going very well. (We should increase his adoption fee but we won't LOL- he has a guardian angel contributing to his care.) He has no limitations that we can see- a really nice quiet big sound gelding for a bargain price! Adoption fee $800- ADOPTED! Donated
